Thanks to being on early retirement or pension whatever its called in english.

I can do most of the things for myself. and that was the goal by seeking that, I would rather be able to take mostly care of my self, than having a job and then having someone have to cook, clean, shop and such, which would be the case sadly.

But i do most stuff myself. Still learning to wash clothes, it just seems hard to nail down, because one piece of wrong clothes can ruin the entire wash. And too much soap and you will be scratching. Its really the only thing that im missing to being self reliant.

I do have help, I live in supported living where I do have my own place (an appartment), but still get guidance throughout the day if necessary, because sometimes I manage better than other times, but there is always access to support.
Some things are easier to manage for me, and for some things I need support.
I have financial help from being on disability and I can live from it monthly.

I do fine on my own, but I'll forget to clean things up often and get disorganized. My father was the same way, though.

Making sure I'm dressed properly. Grooming. Food being cut. Have to have someone with me outdoors or I get lost.

I have Asperger's. Using public transport is definitely one thing that I require assistance with. The crowds make me feel nervous and painful, loud sounds often override my senses and might make me cry or scream or melt down. Planning is another and because I can never work out people's intentions, my parents help me with that. Because I also lack self-awareness, my parents will help me fix mistakes that I cannot detect when I dress myself.

But I can wash my own clothes and go to places by myself once I learn a safe and steady route.

Food and being driven around.

I seem to be fine with most other things if there's enough need applied.

Yup, I can SOOOO relate!

My NT husband (and to lesser extent, my two teens) keep me functioning and (more or less) balanced throughout the day. I am diagnosed, "high" functioning, receive no professional support, and have Aspie-ic difficulties constantly nipping at my heels like rabid dogs just on the other side of a wobbly fence.

Before marriage, I got by, but often struggled to (and sometimes couldn't) hold it all together on my own.

I was an adult before diagnosis and had had to cope on my own. Now I have 'counsellors' I could call if things were to get really tough. Also, my partner is a great help just by being there.

Live with my mom as unable to support myself. Other home assistance happens 2-3 times a week -from insurance special program.

Is that really true? Do you all of a sudden just scream and cry and throw yourself on the ground in public?
Not to be rude or anything, but it sounds hilarious

saying 'not to be rude but....' doesnt give free reign to be rude, even if believe its hilarious sounding keep it to self because its actualy being rude-if were experiencing severe sensory issues the way DA does woud not find it hilarious; try having a bit of respect for fellow users spectrumers who happen to have different autistic experiences.
