There's a crazy cat lady in my neighborhood who's 5 cats lay "kitty mines" all over my property, even in my carport, yet I still kind of like her cats. They keep me with entertainment and they keep my house from getting infested with mice.

I love cats soooo much :cat: :cat: :cat: :cat:

I have had at least one cat since about age 5 or so... I have two right now, a neutered male tabby named Grimalkin and a spayed female black & white called Sweet Baby Girl (when she adopted me I couldn't think of a good name for her but just kept calling her my Sweet Baby Girl and it just stuck!)

Grimalkin is a polydactyl (lots of extra toes) His feet are huge!

elsewhere on the spectrum, but have had a profound connection to cats since five years old.
am unable to visualy process very little of the environment;only things am interested in and since five years old had instantly recognised cats as a 'go to' for interaction yet was unable to process the humans of the family.
have always believed cats are on the spectrum [not all,but some] some of mine are/were though some are/were extroverted NT cats and regulary networked with the local pusscat fraternity.

4 and counting.
I bonded with a cat at a very young age.
Cats have a strong connection to the real world, and are not prone to picking up mind viruses.

Love them. A cat was my first real friend in childhood and he and other subsequent cats provided immense comfort and solace during the pitfalls of a very horrible childhood.

I really like cats, but I LOVE dogs. I particularly love Schnauzers. One time I had four of them. Good times.

I attract them too which is difficult when I live with an 18 year old possessive black cat.
He chases all curious neighbourhood cats away because I'm HIS daddy.

i had a cat like this. he wouldnt leave me alone and sat on my lap for hours and hours and cry when i left the house and chased me down the street. he was black too.

I love cats especially when they purr and curl up on your lap. That's so mellow reall affection there. I think that cats in genuine are rather like Aspies in the way that they relate to others. I found that cats were a bit mixed with me and I do like to stroke a cat that I see when I,m out somewhere. My brother's cat Wendy likes sitting on my lap purring sometimes which is nice but the kneading can be a bit painful so it is best to wear jeans if you have ailurophilia (a cat owner). Winston was a jet black tomcat that had aloud purr to him and was a lap cat who could stratch whilst kneading which is like a kitten behaviour when kittens used to suckle from their mum I would like a cat but my flat is too small and on the top floor of a block of flats.

i love stroking them because they're so silky and affectionate

I quite like cats, yes but i'd love them even more if was not so very allergic to them.

Also this thread reminded me of the book "All Cats Have Aspergers". I can't remember the author's name but i can sure remember it was very cute.
