I can't tell jokes (or find funny any jokes told to me) but I know I can be funny. I make my colleagues laugh easily enough - hopefully because I AM being funny and not any other reason(!). I'm pretty quick off the mark in giving out humour.

But when humour is relayed back to me, I usually don't get it and believe the speaker means what they're saying literally. So yes, I'd say I have an excellent sense of humour, but just don't get jokes - at all.

I relish professionals performing comedy. I think I'd be dead without it,them. It's the amateurs who do it poorly then laugh outrageously at their own badly done humor(and we juststare at them thinking what on earth are they babbling on about that wrongly makes us think there must be something wrong with us. From reading the lists of comedy shows mentioned in all the previous posts I'd say there's nothing lacking comedy wise here.
