When I'm trying to go to sleep, I sometimes (regularly) think about life, existance, and how vulnerable I am. Is this an aspie trait or is it just life related?

Welcome to WP Nullspace. I do that too sometimes but I think many people do. Like Calstar said, it's not Spectrum exclusive.

This is common with many people. Paranoia does not exist in this world, because "they" are all out to "get" you. To survive in this world one must realize that you are alone and that virtually everyone else is your current, or potential enemy. Sorry if this seems so much of a downer, but after 69 years in this world this is a lesson I have learned the hard way.

Um, no, it is not an Aspie thing. It's just something you do, or what most other humans do.
