For me its the NF/SF that get me.

They mean NeuroTypical, not iNtuitive Thinker.

THANK YOU. Been obsessed with MBTI lately.

In that case. I usually stare at something and wonder off.
Sometimes anxiety builds, which than leads to quite a mess but I really just try to find a way out either through whit or leaving. I avoid interaction unless absolutely necessary, normally I stay quiet unless a topic that I expertise in comes up.

I get this reaction from people, too. I guess it's preferable to the reception a guy might get, but it makes me wonder if I act younger than I am or something. A library employee recently referred to me as a "young girl" (I'm 22!).

I'm 47 and I still get it. I look young and my voice sounds like a kid's.

Exactly the same way as when non-NTs do.

I laugh at them and insult them, if they don't stop i'll eventually attack them physically. (usually injure them and have problems later...) I tried to ignore them, but i just can't help it. And i like to feel i can control them, if you know what i mean o_o I usually even like them, but you have to fight back in this situations. But i myself just cross the border too many times and it's getting wrong. ;/ Like, my defense is getting too offensive and it sucks -_-

Depending on who it is, I either

1) Don't care
2) Am smart back
3) Go very quiet ond feel very hurt
4) laugh at myself with them

or

5) Get angry but don't take it out on anyone.

Oh, great. Another NT bashing thread...

We're all people for crying out loud! No offense to anyone, but I am getting extremely sick of threads like these and all this pointless bashing going around! I bet they don't all bash aspies 24/7 like we seem to be bashing them. So everyone, please just build a bridge and get over it!! !

Okay, I'm done venting now.

Lightning88,

"Everyone" bashed me or they simply ignored said bashing and said nothing in my defense for I was unable to speak.... Why should I think any different of humanity when I haven't known any different? Though I do think highly of humanity...I cannot blame them for doing what is innately attributed to their very survival.

Building a bridge...is that saying anything like: take a walk in someone’s shoes before you judge them?

There was a time I used to say "It's not nice to make fun of people who have access to chemicals and know how to use them." These days I just ignore them and walk away, which is a lot easier as an adult than it was for me as a kid.

Please excuse me resurrecting this slightly old thread but I have just had to deal with this, from my next-door-neighbour's cousin (8O) who is working with the neighbour on roofing his new extension. He was taking the piss every time I went out in the garden. I will NOT put up with this!! ! I faced him with a big, sarcastic smile and said 'Hello, how are you?' and he looked a bit embarrassed, and then I said 'what's will saying hello in that silly voice' (he kept doing it JUST as I went through the doorway back into the house - what a BIG MAN  ) And he said 'was I doing a silly voice?' And I said 'Yes. If you would actually like to say hello to me nicely that would be nice, but I don't appreciate that'. And with that I left him gawping. He didn't expect that! What a pathetic little tw@t!
