Lately I've been struggling with anxiety and a bit of depression and thinking about counseling or life coaching. Unsure about the future and what it may bring, and honestly very scared of that prospect. Mainly fear of ending up homeless and alone because I really have no clue what I want to be.

About a year ago a woman and her service dog came into the place where I work. She explained that she is a therapist and hand analysiser and the dog helps her with therapy with people who could benefit from him. She read me and my coworkers hands(really cool!), and gave me her card before she left. I felt a good connection with her and the dog and she seems like someone I'd be good working with. Partly because of the dog because they have a special way of putting me at ease but still.

I left my contact info in a form on her site last Tuesday basically requesting an appointment and called Monday and left my phone number and name and said I was interested in her services. Now I finally found her email address on the site... I searched all over for the damn thing last week to no avail so not sure why now I find it! Anyhow... Should I drop her an email too? Or is that too much? I don't want to seem like a stalker... I've got a picture of me and the dog kicking around somewhere I think was gonna put that in the email in an attempt to jog her memory of who I am incase she doesn't remember everyone she meets like I do. Sure the dog probably attracts more people than I'd imagine. Sorry if this is weird... Just nervous and unsure. This is also my first post  .

As you have contacted her twice, I wouldn't send a third message via an email. Best to keep things on an equal basis, so that there are no misunderstandings - you contact her, she contacts you - unless or until you know someone much better and have a more informal connection.

Thanks that's what I figured. Probably not in the office or something, but of course that didn't occur to me until after I had called. Things like this tend to make me very anxious so I probably wasn't as patient as I shouldve been there. Hope I don't seem like a creep already. Kind of feel bad for it now though I'm sure it's happened before. Waiting makes me crazy.

I'm sure it happens all the time. For now, wait. If you haven't heard back in 10 days, then send an email, saying that you did leave messages before, though perhaps they weren't received for some reason, and restate your reason for contact in simple terms, (don't add in extras on though). Keep it polite, brief and to the point.

Sounds like a good plan. At first I thought that maybe the contact information system was faulty or something since it didn't say how the info is delivered. At least I did wait 6 days in between attempts :) .
