That is part of why I really hate going to a store and being in a long line waiting to check out when something horrible comes onto the radio....I tend to have somewhat of a high pain tolerance, but not for that...lol.

when I would have to drive my dad to the hospital for his appointments he would insist on listening to rush limburger on the radio on the way over, and I would humor him but it took all my willpower to not pull over to the side of the road and SCREAM! Image

Seeing someone else cry
funerals/death
sad or sappy songs, movies, books or shows.
being sick (I don't understand this one, it's not symptom related, I just spend all day on the verge of tears for no reason.)
frustration
meltdown (related to frustration)
depression
hormones

I know what you mean. Sometimes when a horrible song comes on I feel like I might have to run away screaming, or else just have a complete nervous breakdown standing right there in the store.

Sad songs or songs attached to memories.
Certain scenes in films - last one I believe was a scene in The Imitation Game.
Rejection and loneliness.

I don't cry unless something has triggered an extreme emotional state (which is very rare these days). I tend to be naturally somewhat cold/empty, in that almost nothing gets to me, unless it's something I caused.

the cry function is merely dormant, it never totally goes away but it does go "underground" and sometimes quite deeply. but as soon as something pops up in your life that you care about, it will rise and lurk just beneath the surface of your consciousness.

People yelling at me. That puts me into flashback mode. It's even worse when the person yelling at me is attacking me on account of one of my few special interests.

This. Also reading sad news regarding animals or hearing a specific song then remembering good memories and not being able to relive them.

I normally cry at some point during a meltdown...I often find it very hard to cry when depressed and anxious even though I often really do need to.
Sadness sometimes does as does frustration and anger.
