My (Aspie) son made me laugh yesterday.
He came up to me, held out his fist and said, "I've found something you lost."
I said, "Really? What could that be?"
He opened his hand and said, "I found one of your marbles. You said you lost them."
I was kind of shocked, then I laughed until I cried.

How did he know what I needed at exactly the time I needed it? I'm keeping that pretty blue marble. I'm keeping it super safe. If one marble is safe, I can't lose all of them, can I?

Do you think he's some kind of angel?

It took me a good 10 or 15 seconds to figure out why this was funny though, I had to read it twice... I was thinking the same thing as your son, that you really had lost some marbles and that he found one of them for you

Mount that pretty blue marble into a frame and hang the frame up on your wall.

Then you will never lose your marbles again.

It could be your happy thought marble, encapsulating your cute story. Useful for lifting a low mood, not so much for flying.
