What do you think? (I read from an article about autism and the voice lol). Do I have an Asperger's sounding voice?

I did a post about how autism affects the voice so I decided to upload my own for demonstration.

Why don't you all try the same? You can upload to either sound cloud or Vocaroo easily.

I think my voice has gotten a little "better" over the years and a little more NT but I still think I sound a little aspie IMO. It used to be entirely robotic lol

I believe your voice does "modify" to fit into social "norms."

It happened with mine. I sound pretty "normal" at this point.

Sort of. Depends in my mood. I can definitely " pass" sometimes more than others

What is an Asperger's voice? I'm curious because I have a lot of speaking difficulty.
You sound normal to me though

Except for the stuttering and your pronunciation of "bEEn", you sound fairly normal to me.

You sound pretty normal to me. I stumble over words a lot, too, although I think most of my current reading-out-loud problems are because I'm not getting enough sleep. A lot of my (presumably) NT classmates stumble over words, too.

Never been a good "out loud" reader. I can read perfectly in my head but when it comes time to read it orally I have always flubbed it. Not sure if this is "AS" related or just some type of weird anxiety.

The Asperger's voice is stereotypically very monotone, nasal and off key with a weird rhythm and inappropriate enunciation or none at all. Look on YouTube for a kid by the name of "Evan O'dorney" - he had the classic AS voice.
