I would be very careful with that. It turned into a real problem for me for awhile. Sure a couple of shots of whisky might loosen one up and numb some of that anxiety. But alcohol is the sort of thing that that can build up very quickly and before you know it - you're drinking to really unhealthy proportions especially if you are the chronically nervous person like me. A couple shots, then a couple more than a couple more and before you know it it's out of control. And then you feel sick and jittery and can't sleep if you don't keep it up.
Remember hard liquor is very rough stuff to be pouring into your body in any serious quantities. It's like pouring bleach onto a sensitive epithelium.
