Fluked into Public Housing so pay the minimum $120.00 a month 850 sq. ft. Not a project in a best of neighbourhood according to the Dr next door and the Oil executive down the block. I pick bottles to supplement my wefare cheque. Waiting on disability cheques to kick in. My income will triple. Then hope to get out of the city to a small hamlet. Twenty houses and a big beautiful sky. Diagnosed at age 57.

My mortgage on my co-op is about $1,000 a month.
I average about $60-70 for electric, $20 for parking in my complex
I probably pay about $200 in food.
Gas costs about $2.60 a gallon.
By the way, one comes up with the equivalent gallon price in Europe (and most non US places) by multiplying the litre price by 3.76, rather than 4. 4 liters is a "British gallon." An American gallon is 3.76 litres.
I pay about $250 a month total for my cell phone, "regular phone," and Internet.
