- Buddhism, mostly of the Theravada tradition but influenced by the emerging "western" approach and more centred on "core" principles rather than later cultural attributation
- Japanese kaiseki-ryōri / 懐石料理
- Gong Fu tea
- modern nomadicism and "off grid" living, including long-distance hiking, freeganism and related peaceful anarchism

Have an obbsession with history and find amusement in the ironies, especially those which I can relate to. It stems into everything including my lesser obbsession with creating things. Not really sure why I do it, but I do it and I do it rather well. Use all sorts of different formats to express it: building massive cities in mine craft (could pm if anyone is curious bout seeing some of them, not the world's greater, but there something), tinkering with things around me, and writing which has somewhat blossomed into world creating for it and the game I am the game master of. They all somewhat tie together with history serving as my favorite reference and often as a list of things to not do. Rather fun to spend my time pursuing either :)

As of late I have been focusing on a few things.

POP vinyl figures
A creative project/story
Re-watching everything in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Animals/helping animals
The Daft Punk album Random Access Memories

On a less joyous note I have been thinking a lot about the uncertainty as to where I am going in life/relationships/etc...

Incidentally, bees (a hymenoptera) are my current interest.

I miss that show, only able to watch it when I'm home on leave since I'm always busy during the day. Such a great show :)

Murder documentaries (thanks to my girlfriend), and learning anything chess related. My obsessions seem to be based around books and learning. It was electronics last month, it'll probably be that again soon.
