I enjoy getting a buzz, but flat out drunk makes me feel uncomfortable.

I find that I am very sensitive to alcohol. It makes for a relatively cheap buzz. A few beers or glasses of sherry, and I get tipsy. I have noticed as I get older, that the after effects of drinking are getting much more negative. A problem I did not have in my youth. As a result, I have largely sworn off using ethanol, which is undoubtedly a good idea.

I don't mind the taste of alcohol, so I can drink a little bit, as long as it's not enough to feel any effect. That's because whenever I have felt an effect it was bad - I felt a bit sick and nauseous and, in one case, actually vomited. It was a long time ago, but I still remember that it felt horrible.

I've never felt anything good from alcohol - that pleasant tipsy feeling that people describe, being more relaxed, more social, etc. Never. I'm envious of people who can enjoy it.

Love/hate. I have had alcohol during weddings and stuff and it tastes horrible. But then I get the creeping feeling, "Hey, maybe I should drink that again..."

I like beer but I don't drink it very often; mostly just when I'm somewhere where it's free. It does help my anxiety alittle & helps me relax but it makes me tired. I never drank enough to get drunk & I think I would pass out before that would happen.

Alcohol is the only thing that makes socialising in large groups possible for me. Without it I'd feel stilted and awkward.
