I've never been banned from a forum. I did have a moderator who was (supposedly) a cop make empty legal threats against me in PMs once. (Though she was an evil scumbag who blackmailed little girls.)

Yes I've noticed on WP some threads get closed when discussion gets "a little passionate"!

People have gotten rude to me or post things to me that make no sense or get annoyed with me or say I am trolling. I guess that would count as getting into trouble on forums. I used to be an easy target for bullying when I first started posting online because I was so naive and that bothered some people so it made me an easy target. It's happened here too so I have learned that people on the autism spectrum are human too and no different.

I have been banned from a few places only because I deserved it and one time it was an accident I was banned because they had a spammer and somehow my IP ended up on their ban list but they fixed it when I contacted them about it elsewhere and two other times it was because I requested it.

There's clearly an odd choice on occasions to lock some threads when the discussion begins to reveal underlying meaning behind difficult or controversial questions. I think this may reflect those vested with moderator responsibilities perhaps overestimating the sensitivity of the discussion. On other occasions personal attacks or trolling seem to go unnoticed or ignored (i.e. gun people)??

Of course it's always a challenge to be objective when there is a likelihood you yourself are drawn into the debate.

How do you make fun of something that is itself a deliberate parody?

I've never been banned, but it's easy for me to cause a poopstorm. I've been called a braggart (for repeating things people irl have told me), been accused of hating other women, uhh let's see...Sometimes I'll say something, and people get mad. Someone else says the same thing, and no one bats an eye. Stuff like that. Sometimes i'll say something, Poster A will disagree vehemently. Then later Poster A will say something similar, and no one bats an eye. Plus, sometimes I point out relationship dynamics which really upsets nts.

Dunno. I've received a bunch of infractions for "arguing" and "disagree with a True Christian". Saying that Jesus' own name was Yeshua, a Hebrew word, sure riled em up good.

I was banned from Swagbucks, because there were trolls on that site who didn't like me getting high scores in one of the games on that site, in the games section. They hacked their scores so that they would be much higher than mine, and reported me.

Well one one forum I went one time there was that b*tch PA'ing me about "how entitled I was" just because she didn't like my personal opinion. So then I started attacking her about how she was an incest and ret*d her children would be in the future (Even though I personally have nothing against incest.).

She got really mad that I striked a chord so she reported me.
