Japanese culture is a very oppressive culture.
It demands strict adherence to social norms.
Social phobia, OCD and suicide among Japanese descendants in western countries are very common, so just picture Japan.
What is worse is that there is simply no tolerance for disability and mental disorders, so these people just withdraw even more.
