@marcb0t I like to mix in accents too. Mostly Slavic or Japanese.

Greetings Earthling... teehee... I always wanted to say that. :D

Seriously, I think I might try those accents. Also you should try Canadian, New York, and Australian accents. Schwarzenegger accents too, but you gotta get it just right. :P

Haha! :D

Best to start with Japanese, that's pretty easy.
I tried Australian and Canadian before, but I suck at them. :P
Schwarzenegger should be no problem though, I'll watch a video and see.

I notice sometimes when I am doing it and try to put some sort of intonation in my voice but it doesn't always come across as I would like.

Do you really mean "come across" or rather "come out"? I'm really curious, because for me I've often already known that I've hit the wrong note while speaking.

I've been told repeatedly that i have a monotone, "emotionally flat" (or "spaced out" sounding) voice although the tone does vary a lot more when I'm excited or upset. I didn't actually know my voice was monotone until I tried to become a school teacher and the teachers who observed me repeatedly criticised me for this. I tried to vary my tone in the classroom but no matter how hard I tried I was told that it was still too monotone. I think I was partly too afraid to overact because I didn't want to make a laughing stock of myself. One of the teachers once told me "you didn't express one single human emotion throughout that entire hour" :( people are mean lol

People often tell me I remind them of Daria, the cartoon. I guess in that case I would sound like Daria but with a british accent.

When I got my ASD assessment report back from the psychologist, there was a comment that I have a monotone voice. My husband commented on this years back, but I never really noticed. Now I do notice it and it seems to be only when I'm reading aloud, giving information or answering questions to people I don't like or am not familiar with. It doesn't bother me though.
