Hi
This is my first ever post so go easy please :)
Anyway, I looked back at my history and preformed many many online quizzes and tests. Many people have asked if I was on the spectrum and my teachers started to treat me very differently. I often get fight and flight responses and sensory overloads...I start to sweat and get very anxious when people are too close or if they touch my neck or back or arms etc

I often find myself in situations in which I am unable to react correctly...I have a 7 sec delay and I am very good at computer science and graphics (bit stereotypical).

I didn't have any friends from age of going to school up until high school in which one person up roached me and then it kind of took off and gone down etc except one guy who has been very understanding and we have have been friends ever since.

I won't go into too much detail but am I on the mild side of the spectrum and if so what goes through a diagnosis procedure?

Thank you!

None of us will be able to say. If you want to know, get tested.

Yep I understand thanks. But what do you go through in a diagnosis...and when did you do yours?

You do tests, answer questions yourself, parents answer questions, school answer questions, school does tests, parents do tests, look at school reports, look at developmental history, etc.

Or at least that's what they did with me.

Did the teachers start to treat you differently and give you looks or anything like that...didn't it make it a bit awkward?

You don't say how old you are, although it sounds like you're in your late teens. Iliketrees has given you some very accurate information. If you take the ADOS diagnostic test, you could do one of four modules, which are based on your age, development and the estimated severity of your condition. For instance, I did module 4, which is for adults or adolescents with fluent speech. Modules 1, 2, and 3 are for younger people with less fluency.

There's no hiding the fact that it can be quite stressful, but clinicians are aware of this. It might help to make some notes beforehand about things you want to say, or to jog your memory.

Don't worry. You'll be fine. I think you'll find it a rather liberating experience.

Thank you :)
You are quite right I am 15 and what I think is that some may find it easy to understand my speech however some people like my grandmother and my aunt and sometimes teachers require me to repeat myself several times and even sometimes they do not understand...quite frustrating not being able to communicate fluently...though when I speak really slowly with a low tone it's kid of ok....

Anyway thank you, this community is very nice :)

Well thank you. Only problem is I don't know how I will ask my mum....she has asked me if I was autistic twice before but I never responded and I never knew exactly what it was. Too bad :(
