This happens to me regularly. Just the other day I said to my mom "around this time at night I have trouble keeping my legs open"... Of course I meant to say eyes and not legs. Then yesterday my mom was going to make me some hot chocolate and asked how I like it, I replied with "first grill the water in the microwave".. I of course meant to say first heat the water in the microwave.
This happens almost daily. My family finds it funny and charming.
