In a lot of situations, social anxiety tends to come with the territory for people with Aspergers. However, has anyone had the experience of other people blushing when talking to you? For some reason, my new manager gets really nervous and starts blushing when we talk. I don't think it's because she's scared of me though, since she says a lot of nice things about me to other people. I'm not sure what this means, am I weird enough that she doesn't know how to act around me?

That happens to me too.

I guess they become too aware of themselves, or something. They don't know how to act around us, like you said.

She might like you romantically.

Maybe she struggles with anxiety and can't control her blushing, not an uncommon problem.

Maybe you are a supreme weirdo and she says nice things to others about you because she is scared.

All of the above is pure speculation, it's very hard to tell from a few lines of text actually how weird you are.

Who blushes if they find somebody weird? Are you making vulgar comments? People that find me weird (which is everyone who gets beyond my quiet stage) tend to just have these moments of stunned silence. Nobody's blushed.

Compliments and blushing seem to suggest some sort of positive feelings for you. Or maybe what's going on here, is that she speaks highly of you as an act of hilarious irony but when she speaks to you she's blushing because she's really struggling not to burst out laughing and ruin the whole joke. It might sound far-fetched, but you'd be surprised how far people are willing to go for a good laugh.

I'd go with this answer because it seems the most promising and also who wouldn't be flattered with that kind of attention once in a while.
