I just have trouble falling asleep. I generally stay asleep but when I wake up I never really feel refreshed. It takes me seems like an hour to get up but I think that's because of my gastritis.

My solution is to stay awake, until I'm so exhausted, I can't stay awake any longer. Then I go to sleep. and sleep until I wake up.

I am nocturnal. My energy always spikes at night regardless of my sleeping pattern and I think this is more common than one would think. I like to visit a 24 hour gym around midnight and there's quite a few other people around usually. This however also means that if you follow regular class / working hours like me you will feel completely broken in the mornings.

Severe circadian issues here, if left to natural devices I am completely nocturnal, like a vampire. Always have been.this is not an affectation - as an adult it makes things like working or conducting anything during business hours very difficult. I have crap sleep quality and don't get anywhere without temazepam and circadin. Which sucks as I dislike medications.

Definitely a connection. I still can't bloody sleep now even after taking 15 mg of zopiclone. Have had terrible insomnia all my life, even when I was a baby according to my mother.

I think autistics are more likely to have Sleeping Disorders like Insomnia, and Hypersomnia..
