I think that girls who wear hoodies are cuter than the ones who wear crop/tank/tube tops.

I don't know what so many people see charming about sunroofs, all they do for me is take away 2+ inches of precious headroom as well as catch my hair every time they close. :|

I think that the more makeup a person has on, the uglier they get. Like, you see these girls who cake it on, and I'm like 8O .

^^^that reminds me of my mom telling me that back in her childhood in japan, there was this unfortunate mentally handicapped middle-aged woman who instead of washing her face, would just pile on more white makeup, and it would cake off and make her look quite monstrous and it would scare the neighborhood children.

I've seen girls who have eye liner, eye shadow, the biggest, brightest lips you could imagine and these massive fake eyelashes.

I want to be like "the haunted house attraction is that way." 8)

to gild is to plate an object with a thin layer of gold. a lily is already pretty all by itself so to plate it in gold is simply overkill. so to gild the lily is to decorate something/enhance something to blatant excess.

Things I hate that people my age seem to love:

Drinking alcohol
Clubbing
Bars
Loud music (apart from specific circumstances)
Late nights
Doing everything with other people!
Being spontaneous

Things I like that other people seem to not like:

Learning new things
Watching the same TV shows over and over
Predictability

Luckily as I head into my late twenties some of my friends are rethinking their view on the things I hate!

am not generally a morning person, I seem allergic to them in fact. most folks are more morning-oriented than I am. this has long been the case.

Something that really annoys the s**t out of me is when people say that they/someone else "said" something when in actuality they "asked" something. People just can't seem to understand the fact that you don't say a question, you ask it. That's just not proper English.

I would rather not use the word hate, as it is an extremely strong word. However, I dislike loud noises/music, partying, socializing, shopping [unless it's for books or video games], drinking alcohol, and many other things besides. I also don't like getting up early in the morning.

I get annoyed at people who are rule-bound, who worship rules.

Non-processed, non-chemical laden food.

(apparently everybody hates it, because it is always the food that gets discontinued on the grocery shelf)
