Yes, I have done this all my life. Not constantly but I haven't figure out what sets it off - why I start doing it out of the blue.

I toe walk up and down the stairs, I'm as quiet as our cats when they walk on the stairs. I also toe walk a lot and stand on the balls of my feet when not wearing shoes.

I don't do it like a ballerina or anything, but I do tend to walk with the weight on my toes. It makes my footsteps quieter.

I do, or rather, I did...until the hospital operated for tendon damage. Now I couldn't go up on my toes if my life depended on it. They took that ability away completely.

I walk on my toes when I am not wearing shoes, I barely notice I am doing it.

This is me. I frighten everyone in my house because I managed to phantom beside them. Magically I am there behind them or beside them. And they always ask, how did I get there? I find it hilarious.

I feel like I have more ground on my toes. Like gripping on the floor. I often am really clumsy if I walk on my heels or just in general normally.

I never realised this is not a normal thing to do  I've always toe walked up stairs and slopes, sometimes around the house too.

I slide my feet with clean rags underneath them when I go barefoot or in stocking feet on hardwood floor. Unless the floor was swept less than seven minutes ago, so I can be sure I won't step on the tiniest speck of anything on the floor :P

I tend to walk on my toes almost half of the time when I'm barefoot. I like the way it feels better than stomping my heels down like normal walking. I also spring myself up with my toes a lot, like when running up a few stairs.
