Wow, New Jersey representing!
Personally I'm a country boy. Ok no so I grew up in New Jersey (Fountains of Wayne was named after a store not that far from where I grew up), but I like country music. I have a couple favorite artists (Toby Keith, Willie Nelson, Sawyer Brown, Kenny Chesney, etc.), but often go song-by song...so here's nothing:
Brooks and Dunn--"Only in America"
Brooks and Dunn--"Red Dirt Road"
Garth Brooks--"Rodeo"
Garth Brooks--"Ain't Going Down (Till the Sun Comes Up)"
Reba McIntyre--"Is There Life Out There?"
Sugarland--"Baby Girl" (yeah I know as a guy that's random...the melody is really good and upbeat)
Big and Rich--"Wild West Show"
Brad Paisley--"Mud on the Tires"
Kenny Chesney--"Back Where I Come From"
Kenny Chesney--"Keg in the Closet"
Kenny Chesney--"The Woman With You"
Rascal Flatts--"Bless the Broken Road" (if I ever marry, this is definately gonna be a candidate for wedding song).
Sawyer Brown--"Cafe on the Corner"
Toby Keith--"Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)"
Toby Keith--"How Do You Like Me Now?"
Willie Nelson feat. LeAnn Womack--"Mendocino County Line"
Willie Nelson feat. Kid Rock--"Last Stand in Open Country"
Willie Nelson, Arlo Guthrie et al--"City of New Orleans"
And some not-so-country songs...
Matchbox 20--"Unwell"
Jimmy Eat World--"The Middle"
Five for Fighting--"100 Years"
The Game--"Dreams"
Bon Jovi--"Living on a Prayer"
Scott Miller--"Amtrak Crescent"
My University's Student Section--"Rock and Roll Part II" Remix (with expletives directed to other team added to lyrics)
My University's Student Section--"Na na na na, hey hey, goodbye" Remix (again, expletives directed to other team added to lyrics)
There's more, but it's late and I'm tired and this is a pretty good cross section of the favorites on my playlist.
