What are all these 'aspie quizzes' and 'autism levels' that I keep seeing in everyone's signature. Where do you even get/ take these? I haven't been diagnosed or anything since I was 4 years old so I have no idea what any of this stuff is.

Autism level is the severity of how you are affected by autism. Aspie quizzes are just online quizzes that don't have too much significance.

They're getting it from here. Not really the most conclusive tests if you ask me.

To understand the autism levels best, Google "Autism Spectrum Disorder DSM V."

The Aspie quizzes are sort of like the quizzes one finds in popular magazines--a little better--but not much.

Brag points, derived from meaningless quizzes. They mean nothing.

Decided to take the aspie quiz for fun. Many of the questions felt very irrelevant, such as: "Do you have odd hair" LOL. That can more come down to genetics than anything else.

Sometimes that's probably their intention, but I think other times they genuinely think it might turn out to be informative. I think the Aspie Quiz has some diagnostic power as a cheap screening test, and sometimes people are interested in all those sub-categories.

coming from someone WITH quiz points in her signature, ill agree with that. LOL. although with autism there isnt much to brag about. its like bragging about who has the best type of cancer.

OMG! You haven't been to a retirement home lately, have you? They brag about nearly every aspect of having cancer, from what kind makes them suffer more to how long they suffered with it. Some even brag about the credentials of their oncologists!

I guess that's what happens when it's all you have to talk about ...
