I would be surprised if he was, though it's not impossible. He did play an autistic person in the 1993 movie "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" - gosh that's 23 years ago, he still looks so youthful - and it was well received as a sympathetic performance. If he chose to support autistic liberation I would be delighted! Someone of his fame and sensitivity could probably achieve a lot as an ally of the ASD community to counter the hate propaganda from Autism Speaks and the like, and there is a public who would listen to him who would never read the blogs and so on by ASD writers who strive to demolish the myths and diminish the prejudice. Leo could probably change more attitudes in a week than the advocate writers et al could hope to do in 20 years.
Hi: I was wondering how many of you have wondered whether Leo DiCaprio might have some form of Asperger's Syndrome.
1. He hates small talk 2. He has a one track mind and major obsession with the environment and other nerdy things 3. Has social problems 4. Unlike the rest of Hollywood he is not married 5. He's aloof 6. Like quiet environments at parties 7. He's quirky 8. Not a fan of interviews
why is he not married? is he a playboy? he hates commitment? his religion says it's wrong?? he only wants sex with no attachments? these aren't symptoms nor disorders.
