I can stand up for myself; it apparently makes no difference. Nobody cares.

If I thought that you were a tasty snack, such as a small rodent, I might. I generally avoid the humans, as they are large, clumsy, and quite noisy. I do on occasion grace them with my presence if I'm feeling generous.

I picked the "terrible" option. I'm painfully unassertive.

BUT now that I think about it, the "best" option on the poll was "i'm just as good as an average nt at standing up for myself" and a lot of NTs are pretty dang horrible at standing up for themselves. I don't even mean outliers, I mean a lot of them. It seems to be a common problem among women. So I'm probably only a little bit worse than the "average" NT female.

I can stand up for myself and others but try to avoid situations as its another social skill that I am not very good at, I worry that I don't know level to go to, its sort of all or nothing in my mind, in the Navy they told us to never wound anyone, always kill them and that's what I worry about, once I go down that road I am worried about knowing when to stop.

No. I must be one of the most placid and timid 25 year olds alive in the world today. It's a part of the reason why I hate to be around others. Ostensibly I end up saying "sorry" after every few words that I manage to utter, and the majority of the time it's completely needless. I must be extremely annoying to be around.

Aside from his womanising antics, I am much like the character Bill Paxton portrays in James Cameron's "True Lies".

I learned I had to be my own advocate instead of letting others push me in directions I don't want to go in cuz they're not rite for me. I s#ck at it sometimes thou & I sometimes don't feel like it's worth the fight but I'm good at speaking up for myself sometimes.

lately ive been putting on the beef working out buffing up, i'd say yes i could stand up for myself quite easily if anyone actually wanted to try it on but generally i prefer not to be in those situations in the first place.

I used to have trouble standing up for myself--but I've gotten better over the years.

Perhaps, I'm still a little below average in this regard, though.

I can do it when people are obviously being rude or mean to me, but people rarely seem to do that. I can never tell if people are insulting me until it's too late and I go over the conversation in my head. And even then, it's often so subtle that I can't tell if I'd be overreacting or if they didn't even mean it that way... it's just easier to avoid confrontation in those situations.
