Forgive the clumsy title.

I am looking for feedback from within the community for ideas or features in a mobile app that would help an adult with autism to cope with life better.

This could be something to act as a stimming focus, something to help with social situations, something to help with executive function etc etc.

The more specific the idea the better. But even vague suggestions would help.

Please note I am not looking for nor suggesting a cure.

I am looking for ideas that would help improve life for those of us suffering from autism that I could build into an app to benefit the community.

There are no bad ideas as long as they are constructive. All constructive ideas no matter how crazy they may seem are welcome.

It should be highly customizable but not so much that it's confusing, cluttered, or overwhelming... allow separate layouts/structures for different tasks.

Calendar/Planning tools, Journaling/Tracking tools, an "ID card" that says who you are and that you are autistic, which you can show to someone if you were to be nonverbal for example.

I posted something in the Parenting forum here that is for kids with autism, but could also be tailored for adult needs. See topic "App For Nonverbal/Semiverbal Kids."

I am using:

- ColorNote app https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... note&hl=en . It lets you make notes and "To do" lists with reminders.

For example I use it to clean my room. The list says:

- Crush bottles and put them in "Plastic" box.
- Clean desk.
- Put clothes into closet.
- Clean next to bed.
- Take dirty dishes to kitchen.
- Take out the garbage.
- Wipe dust.
- Sweep floor.
- Make the bed.

If I simply think "I have to clean my room." and see all the mess I get overwhelmed and don't know where to start. List makes it simpler because it is one thing at a time.

I also use the app to type what I want to say when I happen to go mute - using Note feature.

- NatureSounds app https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... ound&hl=en when I am having trouble falling asleep.

- A few apps with public transport schedule (for example https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... roid&hl=en ) - because I am afraid that once I get somewhere I won't know how to get back and with this app I only have to check.

- Build in navigation app - also for finding places.

- Game BlockPuzzle: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... plus&hl=en - stimming/entertainment.

I also keep some scanned documents (ID, disability paper, sheet about AS traits etc.) on my phone - I use WPS Office https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... _eng&hl=en to open them.

For me one that would help would resemble the app "smart steps mobile", but be broader.
