I got a 29. I guess I am sort of borderline. (I have not been formally dxed.)

I generally score around 46-47 whenever I've taken it.

I posted this test to another forum I visit, and I retook the test myself. This time I got a 37.

I also recorded everyone's information, these are the results:

Results: 10, 11, 16, 17, 19, 20, 20, 22, 27, 37, 43
Range: 10-43
Mean: 22
Median: 20
Mode: 20

I also gathered everyone's information here, to compare it to the results of those on the other forum. For those who said they took the test more than once, I used the most recent data.

Results: 22, 22, 29, 31, 31, 35, 37, 37, 37, 38, 39, 40, 42, 42, 43, 46
Range: 22-46
Mean: 36
Median: 37
Mode: 37

I was just curious to see how the results would differ if the test was taken by mainly NTs. The two higher scores from the other forum (37 and 43) are mine, and another poster who I have noticed Aspie-like tendencies in. Without our results factored into the average, it came out to be 18.

I also have the peoples' choices which earned them points (which questions they answered that were "aspie-like") if anyone is interested. I find it interesting just to see what they disagree/agree with that is different from the stereotypical asperger way of thinking.

(Just a note: if any of my math is incorrect, please let me know. Math is not my strong point.)

Note, by the way, that the creators of the test claim that most people with AS have scores around 35. That sounds quite low judging from the scores I'm seeing here.

Well, they were probably just talking about the average score. The average here is 36. We do have quite a range, some people have scored in the low 20's, others, like yourself, in the 40's.

Averages can be quite misleading at times, especially if you don't know the range of the data, or the groups who were tested.

It's important to note that our sample size is small and that the sample is biased (comprised exclusively of people who frequent an AS web site and felt compelled to respond to this thread).

High creativity is not the "opposite" of "Aspergers" and I have such in abundance, so I don't know where you got that idea. But for the rest no! Who told you we are not creative? For your gratification, I generaly score 24/5 but have an extreme male brain; where do you score on the EQ/SQ ratio?

I'm an extreme type S according to the SG/EQ test.
Yesterday I showed the diagram to my parents and explained where I was situated. They couldn't believe I had such poor results concerning empathy. In fact, I find this result strange, because I can easily cried when I am moved, and I can be overwhelmed by other people's feeling. Have I a wrong idea of what empathy is?

Well, I think you are right, and if high creativity is abundant in the asperger syndrome, that explains better myself. But you can't say that sometimes the lack of creativity is indicated as one of the characteristics of the aspies ( or some of them).

Heh. I just took the SQ and EQ tests after seeing them mentioned in this thread. My SQ was an unextraordinary 34, but my EQ was 18, which is apparently quite low. Has anyone else tried these tests?

I scored 51 on the SQ and 14 on the EQ and 50 on the AQ. Well into the Aspie range on all three tests. Scary, considering that for 41 years I thought I was "normal"!

I think a lot of the SQ test depends a lot on your interests. For example, if the questions had been more focused on art and literature (ie. How poems are constructed or how a painting has been executed) I would have scored quite a bit higher. As my parents say, I "over-analyze everything"- but only in the cases when I am interested in those things.

That may also be the case for you, Jayshaw, if your specific interests were not focused on in the test. It seems to lean more toward mathematical and scientific systems.

I agree. In fact, I was thinking the exact same thing when going through the SQ test. I strongly dislike do-it-yourself type activities and have no interest in design or engineering. This undoubtedly biased my score downward. If they had asked questions about role-playing games or personal finance, I'm sure that the results would have been a bit different.

Incidentally, I also took the "mind in the eyes" test and scored 26, which is apparently as average as you can get.

I missed that one. Just took it now - I got a 17. Apparently I found it "quite difficult," according to the explanation.

101 out of 135 on the Roger Meyers test;
46 on Baron-Cohen's AQ (32-50 indicates AS);
31 out of 60 on the GAIA test;
7 on Baron-Cohen's EQ test (average for women is 42, my score is extremely low and rare for women to get it seems);
69 on Baron-Cohen's SQ test (average for women is 24).
5 on the Eyes test (did a lot worst than I had thought I would)
