I did the further testing, which took so long I was getting extremely agitated haha. But here are my scores for the first four tests:

36 out of 40 on the Mooney's test
72 out of 102 on the Cambridge Face Memory Test
38 out of 40 on the Guitar Recognition test
38 out of 40 on the Glasgow face Matching test

I won't give my score for the fifth test as it would give away the answer.

The feedback I received said the scores I got suggest I am a super recogniser but further testing would be needed to confirm.

Those are really good scores. Excellent.

You scored:

36 out of 40 on the Mooney's test
86 out of 102 on the Cambridge Face Memory Test
27 out of 40 on the Guitar Recognition test
36 out of 40 on the Glasgow face Matching test

Logic failed me on the guitar recognition test.

You scored:
35 out of 40 on the Mooney's test
90 out of 102 on the Cambridge Face Memory Test
33 out of 40 on the Guitar Recognition test
39 out of 40 on the Glasgow face Matching test

I'm a guitar player so that probably skewed that result. And the final sorting test (no results here, can't give away answers) I TOTALLY bombed it horribly. And I spent like an hour on it, for no reason of course. Just because I got into it.

I found the guitar test the hardest. Still really good results.

As a guitar player the guitar test seemed the hardest too! As a scientist myself I wonder about the aims and objectives and how well each of these tests assess which aspects of recognition. The guitar one seemed pretty incomprehensible...

I didn't understand the guitar test and the reason for it,maybe it is to assess other parts of recognition not linked to faces. I.e is the skill applicable to a broader area? I'm fascinated with it, the whole idea of being able to recognise someone and the fact the gap between some people is so large. If I had scored terrible I wouldn't be as interested I think :0D
