I can't believe how much this topic has exploded since I last posted here. 8O I was actually searching for a thread I made a while ago when I stumbled across this. Normally I'm not big on necroposting, but this topic seemed recent enough that I felt it would be alright to revive it.

I was a furry for a few years but I lost interest.
My first fursona was a fox/deer hybrid and my second one was a calico cat.

I am not fearful of the whimsical or bizarre, just don't think it takes the place of the bare necessities. I would call it a character or a costume, and not the real me, might find it entertaining in the Labyrinth or films of a circus (in small doses.)
