Hello all,
My name is Laura Lewis and I am a nurse and postdoctoral researcher at the University of Vermont. Over the last year, I posted a couple of notices in this group looking for participants for research studies on adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (formally diagnosed and self-diagnosed) and their partners. I shared the first part of these published findings in April, and I am delighted to share the second study, published in the Archives of Psychiatric Nursing. This study is a qualitative study on the experience of self-diagnosing with ASD in adulthood (study of partner experiences not yet published).
Since it does not appear that I can share a PDF directly on WrongPlanet, I am including a link to my research website where I have posted the PDF of the article for anyone who is interested: https://autismspectrumresearch.com/published-research/.
Again, I want to say THANK YOU for making this study possible! I have attached a PDF of the article here for anyone who is interested. I hope more will follow over the next few months and I will check back in as soon as I have any updates.
Sincere thanks,
Laura Lewis, RN, PhD
