I tend to take about a two hour nap during the day---mostly on weekends.

Yes but I'm still at work in the early afternoons so I wait until I get home.

I'm a morning person. Missing one(nap not a morning) doesn't affect the next day.

I'm unemployed, but sometimes it seems that 10-12 hours is more than enough for me, then I get sleepy, but not always though.

in junior high I needed naps in the afternoon. I stopped needing them when I was a year old, but school was demanding and I needed it again then.

in high school I could have needed it but I got home too late in the day for that to be an option. If what you do is demanding for you or require a lot of social interaction, it makes sense that aspies would get tired as a result.
Although I did have a classmate who most certainly wasn't aspie nor introvert, and she claimed she often napped in the afternoon too.

my routine is that in the late afternoon i'll suddenly run outta gas, and i'll take a caffeine pill, and if i'm still nodding off and feel dead inside, i'll surrender and take a 2 hour nap, from 4-6PM. then i'll feel better and alert again.

Depends on how much sleep I get the night before, and how much chamomile tea I drink, especially with all the panic attacks I'm having again.

I've never took a nap in my entire life.

In like to take about a 1/2 hour nap in the afternoons but when I was working full time I wasn't able to. I read somewhere that if you lie down for at least 20 minutes your energy will be recharged, though some people don't seem to need a nap because they sleep adequately at night. I am an insomniac.

Oh yes indeed. I need an afternoon nap most days, and if I don't get one, I at least need to sleep in on the weekend, or go to bed early.
