Now, technically you're supposed to take the test several times and then whichever 4 you consistently score as, are what make up your personality (with one dominating the others). Whether you use C. Jung's, Myers-Briggs, or Keirsey's method (they're all based off Jung's theory), there seems to be a significant correlation between the NTJ, NTP, and NFJ personalities, Autism, Personality Disorders, and extremely high IQ's (130+). Particularly if introverted. http://personalityclub.com/

Unfortunately, it seems there's a greater vulnerability to abuse and exploitation in such people as well. Whether it's the abuse-exploitation that molds people into having these traits as a defense mechanism, or being born with these traits makes us a bigger target for abuse, is unclear.

I can personally attest to this, as I consistently score as INTJ, INTP, INFJ and ISTP, suspect I have a Personality Disorder, and scored an IQ of 125 when I was a teenager. Does anyone relate to this? What do you think of Jung's Personality Theory?

Here is the test if anyone is interested:

I mostly get INFP occasionally ISFP. The dominance of the F or S tends to be marginal.

Mmm...S is what the vast majority of the World is, so I'm thinking it's dominated by Neurotypicals. Would you say you being INFP or ISFP holds true to your experiences?

I would say INFP holds more true than ISFP. I think whilst a certain type or types may occur more frequently with ASD that there will be a variety of types here, just as each person with ASD is different.

I was wondering about this myself. I consistently score INTJ, INFJ. As a family, we were getting a few laughs out of an online screening quiz last week. The kids (adolescents) who scored lower on the screening (less likely to have Autism) have vastly different personalities than the cluster of kids who scored high. My 15yo NT daughter asked me what I scored and it was higher than them all and she said "I think that's maybe because you are just really introverted, mom." So are avoidance/coping/adaptation behaviors just introverted tendencies or is it the other way around?

And the correlation with abuse? Yes! I was just trying to talk this out with my husband the other day - I think the disconnect or naivete of not reading people leads to getting sucked into relationships with narcissists. The ego of the narcissist is fed by attention, and I don't know about y'all, but when I am interested in a person, I used to not have the inner thermostat for 'back off'. A narcissist will capitalize on being the center of someone's world- especially if it is someone who does not demand emotional intimacy and possibly sensory seeking (you know...pushing how far is too far in a physical relationship). Growing up, I got chastised a few times for attracting friends that weren't really all that nice to me or were using me for one reason or another. Which also led to a very bad marriage with a narcissist - and I didn't recognize the damage for several years - because emotionally connecting was not high on my priority list, I survived over 10 years and only really kicked the guy out because I started to recognize signs of emotional damage to my children. (Yay for being fascinated with healthy familial relationship for a little while!)

I also recognize this pattern in some of my children (one diagnosed, others suspected Aspies) in their relationships at school or even with a teacher. They just don't recognize when they are being mistreated and don't stick up for themselves. I have a couple of middle school boys that have a very hard time with a couple of teachers. We have had an interesting learning curve here the last couple weeks and now some of the parent-teacher conferences in years past are starting to click. They never understood why the teacher was yelling at them or keeping them in for recess all the time. And they didn't even really care. They just accepted it and went back into their own little happiness cocoon.

I am undiagnosed, but suspect ASD (correlated by those who know me). I am, and have always been, consistently INTJ.

I believe I am an INTJ. I took the test so long ago, however.

On https://www.16personalities.com/intp-personality i have always scored INTP. When i took the test just now, i got 98% introverted, 79% intuitive, 97% thinking and 91% prospecting.

Also where is the source(s) for the correlations? I'm interested in reading more.
