Wow. Thank you. I really needed to see that today. Been feeling very alone in my recent diagnosis. I think I'm going to try and show up on this forum more. Thanks for making this.

I really resonated with this video. I completely empathize with the struggle of fitting in and the amount of energy it takes to maintain that mask. You also enlightened me about my brothers and sisters who are severely autistic, and how they are very intelligent as well. Thank you.

I'm a documentary editor IRL, so I also want to say that your filmmaking skills are quite good too! I liked the pacing, the interviews, getting Temple Grandin, the B-Roll. And this was uploaded a very long time ago. I hope that you are still making movies today! God bless you.

It does not have any proof that if a pregnant woman takes any drugs for inducing labor causes autism in children. However, autism is a genetic disorder that causes abnormalities in the structure of the brain. A pattern of autism or related disabilities appears to exist in many families, further supporting the theory that the disorder has a genetic basis. While no gene has been identified as causing autism, researchers are searching for irregular genetic code segments that may have been inherited by children with autism. Some children also appear to be born with a susceptibility to autism, but researchers have not yet identified a single "trigger" that causes the development of autism.
Other researchers are examining the potential for an unstable gene cluster to interfere with brain development under certain conditions, resulting in autism. Other researchers are also investigating issues during pregnancy or delivery, as well as environmental factors such as viral infections, metabolic imbalances, and chemical exposure.
