Note the "M" word doesn't appear once, when you're a child rapist you're "Asian", when you win a British TV baking show you're a Muslim

Needless to say fear of being called racist was why this gang were able to get away with it, just like all the others

So all you people who scream "racist" and people who call out the inherently incompatible values of Muslims, you're responsible for things like this, for creating this kind of environment. Where scum like this

Yeah it's all my fault - sorry , I'll talk to my therapist about the guilt I feel

I'm Welsh, autistic, and have white, white, Vikings and black, black Ethiopians in my bloodline, so I've had to cope with a fair share of prejudice in my lifetime. I don't know which was worse, being locked in a storeroom at both Nursery and Infant School day in day out to keep my dying and coming back to life from interrupting the neurotypical curriculum, or subjected to death threats and attempts on my life in Junior School due to the skin colour of an ancestor, or accused of being a thief by the white, white Viking English when I worked in England due to my being Welsh.

But the worst phobia I have come across since the advent of the internet is that against trolls, spammers, quacks and snake oil salesmen. Being accused of being a troll, spammer, quack, and /or snake oil salesman, here in Wrongplanet, by a fellow autie / aspie member or autie /aspie moderator is the greatest offence they can cause me, but I forgive it unconditionally, as 'they know not what they do'. However it hurts to be so accused. I do not judge them, so why can they so readily judge me?

A lot of people here have their irrational fears as their special interest.

Not his either - since what he was posting is clearly against the forum rules.

adriantesque, I'm not sure what was the point of all those ad verbum repeated posts circulating on the different fora containing links to your business and promoting books that you claim you yourself wrote?

From the forum rules:
3. Other inappropriate content and behavior prohibited on Wrong Planet:
This includes copyrighted material, serial codes, and posts made to promote a website, group or product, particularly if made repeatedly and without other participation in the WP community (spamming).

I'd advise you to read the forum rules before you try to cast the blame on others here. Ferris only thought you were trying to scam on suicidal people and wanted to protect them. Considering the nature of your posts it's not difficult to imagine why he'd thought that.

I`ll share some thoughts about the autist supremacy topic.
When I have been “diagnosed” and started to get to terms with my aspie identity, I felt good about not being NT, still do, most of the time. As my special interests lie in the realms of psychology, anthropology, ethology and suffering I came to toying with the idea that maybe autistic traits are more adaptive in mankind today than they ever have been, so they might spread more. I asked myself if a nation of aspies would cause less destruction and suffering than any NT-dominated society has. From there it is not far to claim autist supremacy.
What made me reconsider my hopes for our possible impact on the world was reading some (well, a lot) biographic stuff about Adolf Hitler, who, for all I know, may well have been an aspie. He surely didn`t reduce suffering.
Fascists are a big problem. Whether they choose racial, national or religious crutches for their identity doesn’t make much of a difference to me. I think aspie fascists are more dangerous than NT fascists, for they are less prone to empathy.
Apart from that, NT-dominated systems seem to me to have messed up the ecosystem, politics, societies and economy enough now. I still allow myself vague hopes that people on the spectrum can play a crucial role in further history of mankind, helping to get things right.
Or maybe we colonize mars and let the others have their way Without me, then; I love too many NTs.

Reply to all:

Holy cow folks I think this tangented off to the Islamic takeover of Europe (which is occurring and about which I'm very concerned, as should you all be) and ignored my concern of racists and homophobes HERE.

There is a difference between not liking Islam and Christanity vs being a homophobe or racist. Nobody chooses to be the race they are or to be homosexual, just as none of us choose to be autistic. Homophobic and racist VIEWS do, IMO, represent an act of violence IN AND OF THEMSELVES because they foster an environment where people think its OK to hate gays or blacks or whatever. I believe that they should carry serious social and legal punishments on their own. What? Well, if I had Alladins lamp I'd be tempted to simply wish them all dead, because the world would be better off without them. But what I'd really like is a world where they have lost COMPLETELY and would face say JAIL for siding with the KKK or whatever.

Now as for Christanity and Islam, they are false demented BS views of bearded desert weirdos that people choose to follow. And yes, the Muslims do want to take over Europe and hate the culture of the native people. I've studied the situation there, espically in the UK, France, and Germany and its alarming.

Some have, yes. I think mostly or only in the West, though. I think it's really a cultural thing, because in many third world countries people of other faiths also think gay people should be locked up or killed. But folks who grow up in diverse liberal democracies, regardless of their faith, tend to more value tolerance of those who are different from them. Hopefully we'll see tolerance grow around the world. Even in Saudi Arabia there's apparently starting to be progress made with reducing the power of the religious police to arrest people, marginally increase rights of women, etc.

Quote:
By the way, no less than U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton described the evolution of ISIS/ISIL, etc., as having been started with U.S. government (Carter and Reagan) arming and financing of the mujahideen in Afghanistan during the 1970s and 1980s ( https://www.democracynow.org/2004/6/10/ ... _armed_the ). History then tells us that the mujahideen transformed into the Taliban which kinda, sorta, tranformed into Al Qaeda which has being transforming ever since into various IS states and organizations. All along, she suggested, the U.S. government armed and financed it all. Of course, many world leaders and political forecasters said the same thing years before Clinton spilled it all (she has always had an ego which tells the brutal truth even if she never intended to be so honest).

That stuff was public knowledge long before she was SoS.... the CIA trained & armed mujahideen to fight the USSR, in a "enemy of my enemy is my friend" kind of deal, and those guys ran with it.

In Iran and Iraq, it's illegal to be gay. They will execute you for it. In Iran their cure to homosexuality is to get a sex change or don't act gay. That means don't date your own gender and act on it.

Exactly....they are Muslim countries, that policy is an Islamic one.

Laws like that are more a product of culture than religion. You can pick and choose verses from many holy books to justify doing whatev.

Also, the US helped build Radical Islamism as a bulwark against Communism.

But those countries are very high on religion so they have laws based on their religion. I am glad the US doesn't run on religion and we don't make all these ridiculous laws because of religion.

I'm not a racist really, but I do get offended when foreign muslims wear burkas in the UK, and build mosques in the UK, and all of that. It's fine in their countries, but this is England. They're destroying our British culture. Some muslims get offended when seeing British flags up, or in November when shops are displaying poppy-themed items, the muslims don't like it. Well, in my opinion, if they want to live here in the UK, they must respect our culture. If any of us went to a muslim country and built christain churches and openly expressed our culture and got offended by their culture, we would probably get our heads chopped off as punishment.

I suppose somebody will get offended at this, but it's what a lot of British people feel.

I think the Brexit vote has a lot to do with issues you mentioned above. Although I don't fully agree that 'they are destroying our culture' as we are doing a good job of that ourselves! And anyway Britain has always had a mixture of races and cultures it is just that recently things have been changing far too rapidly.

I don't think being Muslim is a race (it is a chosen belief system) and I do not think most British people even object to Muslims; what they object to is the cultural practices associated with the more extreme interpretations of their chosen religion. I don't think it is irrational or a 'phobia' to have concerns about these kind things and how they are creeping into society.

People are also frustrated with the censorship that goes on for fear of offending someone. Recently the charity Bernardo's launched an anti FGM campaign with a poster of a white girl and talked about one of the risk factors as being sent to "a country" with a high prevalence of FGM. I mean this is political correctness gone mad - we all know white girls are not being sent abroad in the school holidays to have their genitals mutilated... also why not just name the (African countries with predominantly Islamic beliefs) places in question?

Personally I try to take everyone as I find them, but we all have our prejudices it is only human instinct really. The most important thing is to be aware of them and to try your best to treat everyone fairly and equally and not discriminate on the basis of unfounded preconceived ideas or stereotypes.
