Hand written on paper is the least frustrating and most accurate for me, I think, but music is the one that makes the most sense to me. Gets closest to the truth.
Texting and email get problematic partly because I can't see all of what I've written, so I lose track of it all. And smartphones drive me crazy. I can't type as fast as I think, words get replaced with the wrong ones, the list goes on.

Anything that involves writing or typing instead of speaking. Talking over the phone is also my least favorite and the most difficult for me, since there's only voice for the other person to go by, and I have issues with selective mutism or something similar.

I like email, texting, and face to face. Talking on the phone is difficult because there is always static and its difficult to hear the person on the other end unless I put it on speaker phone. Although, I had no trouble understanding my dad on the phone this morning. There was no static and I could hear him perfectly without speaker phone.

+1 for text and email. I hate phone calls with a passion, I had to write a thank you letter to my Grandparents because they don't text.

Written text - I can express myself much better this way and I have more time to review my message. When I speak the words that come out of my mouth are almost always different than what I had planned out in the first place.
I hate talking on the phone. I get the timing wrong or I can't hear the other person properly and have to ask them to repeat themselves, which people usually don't like doing.

Much agreed. I won't answer the phone, ever, unless it's family.

I like writing long messages, chat is a bit tiring. One to one conversations are mostly OK depending on the person. Groups nope.

Mostly I don't say what I want but point at it or show it somehow though. Instead of calling a person I just stare at them until they notice.

I like chatting because it gives me some time to think, which I don't really get in calls or face-to-face conversation.

Whatever form of communication that eliminates eye contact and facial recognition is aces in my books.

For me, it'd be a tie between face-to-face and chat.

The time it took me to translate, you did not disappoint by just making it random. Very clever.

and to add my own preference, written. Either electronic or through good old fashioned letters. I need time to reread what I say and decide if it is what I meant it to say.
