Researching sensory overload

Hi, I had this up in the introductions forum, just reposting it here to see if anyone would like to comment:

Hello, thank you for having me on this forum. I am a neurotypical MSc student who is researching sensory overload in autism/Asperger's. I wanted to ask whether it is ok for me to advertise my research here in order to recruit participants.

To take part would involve an online survey followed by an interview with me at a later date. The interviews could happen in person in on or near central Scotland, or online if the person lives further away.

This isn't the actual advert for my research - I just wanted to check if it's ok to advertise here.

I can't imagine being able to cope with an interview in person or online (if it's a skype sort of thing).

Online surveys are great. But in-person interviews are giving me sensory overload just thinking about it.

I understand that mended, so I realise that if some people do agree to be interviewed, it won't be a representative sample. I will be offering to conduct the interview through instant messaging instead of a video or audio link if that's what someone prefers.

That sounds like a great idea; I hope you are able to do it. I would certainly be willing to participate if I were allowed.

Ah sorry SSF, thanks for your reply but it will only be for over 18s.
