Damn, what is this, a genius convention? Anyway, I'm proud of having an IQ of 95. IQ does not accurately measure intelligence, it only measures what the Man perceives as 'capacity for success in the (patriarchal and eurocentric) business world'. For the record, my grade average is 103, my post-2005 SAT score (recalibrated since I took the old one) is 2320, AND I'm not a native English speaker.
See what low-IQ folks can do? I work damn hard for my grades, okay? My IQ may be under 100 but I'm more successful academically than some 150-160 idiots.

I'm a little bit strange, I got exactly 153 in verbal, and 153 in performance, so that's pretty weird for an aspie...

I want to say something: as far as I know, a person with an IQ of 130 or moe is a gifted person, a "superdotado" in spanish. A genious is a person who can use his or her abilities (including his or her IQ) at their best, doesn't matter if they are low or high...

I've distrusted IQ tests on principle since hearing that Richard Feynman - Nobel winning physicist - didn't even score in the 'genius' range.

I agree that a genius is somebody who's good at what they do. I don't know if Terry Pratchett would make a good physicist, but he writes darn good books.

Frankly no, to me he seems to have been the most NT of all great modern physicists.

Your family was more supportive of you when you were younger and actually thought you actually had potential. My mother had low expections of me educational wise and never taught me to study.

Your school scores were way better than mine, my grades were actually slightly below average C's and D's.

I've taken an Online IQ Test, last night and I've scored a very bland 113. My report had stated that I have a very rich Vocabulary, and very strong Spatial Skills. However, my Math Skills are't very good and my Logic is pretty down there. That doesn't make me an Idiot. The test only points out my Strong Points and my Weak Points.

Chris Rock: "You know how dumb you got to be to get left back in the first grade? 'What's 4 plus 4?' 'Jell-o'."

The last "official" one I had was back in high school when they diagnosed me with ADD. I was about 140 without Ritalin, 160 with. In some areas I was as high as 190, but 2 areas were like 110. I guess if there were a socialization section I would score in the 2+2=jello range.

My daughter placed the equivalent of 180 (her's is adjusted for age).

About 12 years ago my IQ was measured at around 136 (when I was 9). I also had a MAJOR discrepancy, on a hospital evaluation done when I was 6, between verbal and non verbal, though both were measured as above average so they didn't pick up at the time that I had any problems. Since them, I've ranged between 129 and 146 on most IQ tests, although my personal feeling is that IQ tests only measure how well you can do IQ tests

i took a formal test, scored 150 the doctor said i could easly score in the 160's if i hadnt stressed out.. i have always been treated as a ret*d person and i panic in situations with any authority. also the answers roll in after the fact.. i would tell her when i got them later.. she sigured something was different.. she said i came up with 3 new answers to the questions. i was 46 years old then.

but my literacy level was 5th or 6th grade. my mechanical ability and perception, abstract perception and spacial relationships were in the top 6 to 4 percentile

in school i was placed special ed classes.. then they recomended i be placed in the Honors program and the kids there just kicked the crap out of me all the time.. so i averaged out out and got into the general population.
