I'm having *major* problems dealing with a person that has very, very intense ADHD and is Bipolar (2). He's on medication. A LOT of medication. Seven different medications, I can't remember all of them. I have only known him for about four months, but I believe he's manic or semi-manic at the moment.
He's quite aggressive sometimes and he was in a big fight a month ago or so (he got pretty bad beat up). He's also bragging about this fight. Come on, he's 40 years old now. Get real.
However, he also has some REALLY good sides. He's very enthusiastic does a lot of work. In general I used to think that his good side were better than his (really) bad sides. But his bad sides are taking over now.
This night ended with med saying: "You can't say things like that to me. End of story." (In Swedish tough). He started to get extremely annoying and I just left (but I said goodbye to the rest of the people).
He's also an alcoholic, I guess. There are some really bad things in play here, as you see.
I'm pretty sure I'm not a big part of this problem. Everyone at this ...place... I'm hanging out at find him very, very annoying at times.
One "solution" I'm thinking of is to ban him from drinking until he gets SOME control over himself. But it won't work in the long run. Probably not even in the short run.
He can't be banned from this place, I guess, since he is one of the organizers (I'm also one of the organizers). I wouldn't mind banning him though, for a while. Hmm...
I would appreciate tips, articles etc. on how to deal with this "situation". Thanks!
