I'm not sure why, but your curiosity really isn't a childlike obsession, even if it's mildly obsessive. :nerdy:

Robot and spaceship model kits. And action figures are my special interests. This hasn't changed since I was a kid.

who are your fave pinups?

No famous names. Now it is pictures I find online.

I don't know if all of my obsessions would be considered "childlike" but I have a big love of cute things, like plushies, and I collect them though I'm trying to cut back on my collecting because of money and space concerns. I also love coloring and I have a few coloring books that are animals and manga pictures.

Yup!

Legos, school supplies, barbies, Pokémon, sailor moon, children’s books (I have a whole shelf of them and don’t live with any children), certain children’s shows (I really like Franklin [the turtle]), butterflies, play doh, coloring, Spyro the Dragon, and all things Disney. Some of these obsessions are more or less appropriate for an adult to engage in/with but these are things that I just never grew out of...

All I can think about is making more Puppetrina movies.

Well if you like puppets what do you think of the Jim Henson stuff? I mean the new Dark Crystal show is all done with puppets and it is f*****g amazing(I know Jim Henson is dead but the people who did the show did it with puppets, I think they thought of doing CGI, but instead they used all puppets to make it authentic and such and it turned out great...I mean IDK I do love well done puppets and Jim Henson with spot on with bringing them to life....but all the new movies and s**t just use 3d animation and CGI..i miss the stuff like the labyrinth, and all those muppet movies. Seriously aside from that Dark Crystal show on netflix the last movie I saw that was mostly puppets was The Muppets In Space, and that one was years ago.

But well I at least really love the Jim Henson puppets and I wish there were more new shows that would use those kind of puppets rather than all that CGI and 3D animation.

I have loads of toy teddies and rabbits and a few dolls and toy monkeys.

I'm going to get back into reading childhood favourite books.

I'm going to get back into lego but with the 16+ sets.

Lockdown is making me super nostalgic.

I have kept some stuffed animals from my childhood...I still have a mouse stuffed animal that was a replacement for a bunny I lost. It was so sad...me and my family were driving down to denver to visit my grandma or something from the mountains and well we had a window open and me and my siblings were tossing my toy bunny around for some reason then it went out the window. To my parents horrer(I suppose because the last thing you need on a highway is a little girl screaming 'STOP! We have to get my bunny! NOOOO....Stop the car! and while driving having to tell me there is no way we can stop because we're on the highway and we could die if we just pull off). So anyways the mouse was meant to replace old Mr. Rabbit. Because after that I didn't even wanna look at another bunny with a bow tie. But yeah I was so devestated that Mr. Rabbit flew out the window. IDk Maybe a bird used him for a nest who knows what became of Mr. Rabbit. But yeah we were on a highway in the mountains and there was no way for them to have been able to pull over. So I still have Mr. Mouse, granted as i recall I put dresses on him so he crossdresses sometimes but don't let him trick you because he's still Mr. Mouse.
I also have a stuffed lion I got when I was a baby, IDK how I still have it but I also would like to give him a make over...IDk I wonder if I could take him to a build a bear shop or something and get his face fixed up as well as get him a new mane, cause his is all curled up and s**t from being so old so it would be cool to re-stitch his face and get him a new flowing mane rather than the bunched up one he has. Can't bear to throw him away but he looks terrible and could use some repairs for sure. I mean the damn thing is at least 30 years old. Come to think of it his paws could use a little work to but yeah I would rather restore sweet leo than toss him(Sweet Leo) is stitched on his stomach so that must be his name I am born in august so my horoscope sign is Leo so my grandparents got me that when I was a baby...And yeah I'd like to restore him a bit.

And outside of that I still have some older benie babies....I ripped the tags off most(people made the mistake of telling me not to tear them off) so I had to tear them off. but either way I have quite a few old style benie babies from the 90's I have one newer one my sister got me because my favorite stuffed animal when I was younger was a toy I assumed was a platypus, it occurs to me now it may have been intended as a duck but I thought it was a platypus. So my sister randomly found a platypus looking beany baby because she remembered how much I loved that one and got it for me because it reminded her of me.

I'm obsessed with pea-like characters such as Om Nom from Cut the Rope.

My main one is Lego. I got back into it when severely depressed- it's fun, keeps the hands occupied and is a great low-pressure outlet for creativity. From where I'm sat in my bedroom right now I can see a Lego house, three spaceships, three robots and three road vehicles, all my original builds. I also have a modest collection of Transformers. Not really into the fiction- I just like fiddling with the things.

I love comics. Which is not automatically childish. There are a LOT of non-child-friendly comics out there, for a start. But I do have a huge soft spot for the rounded, childish style many indie cartoonists use. Currently reading the manga "Fruits Basket", which is very definitely aimed at teenage girls. Loving it.

I love Fruits Basket so much!. It was the first anime I watched in middle school and I began reading the manga shortly after my friend showed me the first few episodes one day. I definitely agree that not all comics and manga/anime series are for kids. Though one thing I realized is that my music taste might be considered "young" by some. However, I just really love bubblegum pop as well as other genres but I get (friendly) teased by my friends for my love of pop music, both the stuff I loved as a kid and the newer stuff.
