I'm glad I have my own opinion and don't have to agree with someone just because they have a similar disability. I think it is obnoxious to make an all inclusive statement like 'people with disabilities', and not allow for each individual to entertain their own interests, whether they be for self, selfless, while engaged, in conversation, or isolated by circumstance--if you are of age, you can vote. thinking a politician or party will solve MY problems or difficulties navigating the world, would be delegating to another, (yet AGAIN!), my authority, my RIGHT to be myself, to another. No, thank you

With all do respect, Sept 2019 US President Trump did sign into law 1.8 billion in funding for autism SERVICES & SUPPORT, with grants for programs in rural and unserviced areas. The bill which reauthorizes the previous autism Cares Act of 2014.. expands government program to include Older people with autism. With a 42% increase.

Biden’s administration will ensure informal or family caregivers receive the support they need to care for their family member by creating a 5,000 tax credit.
Anything above and beyond might need lobbying the insurance companies.

I used to get attacked by members here when I first joined WP for bumping old threads. I used to get upset and wonder why people got so annoyed about it, but now I understand why.

Generally, most forums do have this unwritten rule against bumping old threads.

Some even makes it a written rule against it -- it's called necroposting.
It happens often with new members.

This particular forum doesn't have a written rule about bumping threads.
