I doubt you'll find a quick fire way to get off of your obsession. I mean, I was obsessed with the computer and the internet even before I knew what I was doing on it. I mean, I'd just go to cartoonnetwork.com all the time and just LOOK at their news. I had no idea what it said, but I liked how it changed every once in awhile. I guess that's how my obsession with the internet started. Other then that, I'm also obsessed with medical things as my mom's a nurse, she watches operation shows all the time, she watches crime shows all the time, and I started watching crime shows so now I'm also obsessed with biological police detective work such as serology and anthropology. Yes, I know that has little to do with you, but I'm just showing that our obsessions are a part of our upbringing in a way. Heck, I even got my anime obsession from my cousin. In a way, I guess it just shows how I was raised. Good luck with getting less obsessed with it if that's what you want though.

Hey, try starting a band. A lot of people want to play in bands, and a lot of people dream of being good enough to play in a band. It might be very awkward at first, but I am sure you could make friends with people who love music as much as you. Society these days is very into rewarding musicians with lots of money and fame, and if you play that often, you're bound to get noticed.

To me, it is a serious disability which can ruin your life in its integrality. I am currently diagnosed with PDD along with language delay by a professional and no, I am certainly not proud of it, those with PDD and autism are constantly being mocked over the internet not to mention they are being trolled. To be honest, I was trolling autistics and spergs back then, of course I'm not proud of it, but how can you guys be proud of being bound to disability for life?

pathologically insular self reflective consciousnesses with differently configured sensibilities...and big vocabularies.
