Ever since I first read the book, I have a feeling that a boy called Zero in the book "Holes" has Asperger's Syndrome. He is very good at maths and acts strangely towards other people. He is also really good as a character and he's my favourite character in the whole book! :-)

I would be very interested to know if anyone else thinks the same as me about this.

I think that we already have too many "I think this person may be an aspie..." threads.

Why - you say that as if it is a bad thing. What is wrong with that? Isn't it purely someone saying "I read this book, and I related to this particular character"
The original poster seems to be fairly new so they may not know of the other threads.

I call this Outsider Association Syndrome(OAS)

Thanks the to the fact this is literally a digital city of social outcasts people want to bring in those they feel are great and wonderful that exhibit traits of outsiders and pariahs, misinterpreting signals of other mental anomalies as signs of AS so they can bring them into the "fold".

Because they want to associate this mental anomaly with great people of prestige so they can feel just as good or better then Neurotypicals.

There is merit to what you say Flagg - I can't help but note the picture of House. Am I correctly interpreting the ironic statement that it has been suggested that house has Aspergers or am I completely misunderstanding the intent?

Aye, though I don't think House has AS. He's just an evil ass who treats people like puzzles.

I would have to concede that that is probably the case ;)
