I don't understand why there has to be a word for being able to detect someone who has an invisible disability.

Is there a prize for getting the best word?

I think we should just have a secret handshake for when we meet and recognise one of our own kind. Or maybe just nod our recognition.

I think "adar" is best since it rhymes with "gaydar".

The secret handshake is to wear something with a dinosaur image: Chloe Hayden
And it doesn't take much adar to ID Kelly: Kelly = Season 37 Mood.

I would be surprised if we don't do at least as well as gaydar. In both cases, there may be plenty of clues other than just their presentation. Like the person is at a Star Trek convention, or I guess it's Comic Con now.

It's the geeky protagonist(?) of " The Big Bang Theory" tv sitcom , haven't even watched a single minute of that show, yet i know the name/association.

Yes. The sitcom is like "Friends", but with geeky young scientists. And Sheldon is the uber geek. Nerdy and quirkier than the rest. And does have certain aspie traits, even if aspergers wasnt on the minds of the creators of the show.
