Have you ever had a question that you’ve always wanted to ask but never have? Or have asked it and received an answer that was.. we’ll call it unhelpful!?!???
I scan it and look at everything, I wondered if others do the same!? I have asked someone this question before and received a laugh and what!!?!? Response. Though it was a serious question as I was curios.. rarely do I ever watch tv facing it, my head is usually facing away from it a bit so I guess I watch it kind of sideways , always have…
I watch TV as most people do. I watch the video and audio and combine that into one moving picture.
Perhaps the more important question is HOW DO YOU READ?
In general I read like everyone else from the front to the back. But when I was in my first year of high school, I was taught to read differently. I was taught to read from the inside out. I would find the one or two key words in a paragraph and then begin to combine these words until I could understand the entire paragraph. Because my brain functions differently than many NTs and even many Aspies, this was really a WIN, WIN SITUATION for me.
So if you find it difficult to read, you might try this method of learning to read.
As far as your method of watching TV, I generally watch TV as most people. BUT when I communicate, I generally do not look people directly at their eyes. I will look a little to one side, but not directly eye to eye. This causes many NTs to assume that I am
dishonest, unreliable, not to be trusted, a bad actor. They could not be farther away from the truth.
