Who else hates these types of restaurants?

The restaurants (mostly cafes) where you stand in a queue and choose something from a menu on the wall. There are so many choices that I haven't had enough time to look at. There is a long queue behind me. The cashier is asking me what I'd like. Blurting out a random item whether I like it or not. Stepping to one side to wait for my order. Other people asking me if I'm in the queue or not. Getting my order and finding a table. How do people do all of this? All in all I much prefer places where you are shown to a table and given a menu.

Then why do you go to such a restaurant?

Here's a tip. When you go in the restaurant, study the menu on the wall, figure out what you want, and then get in line. I do that all the time.

I can usually find the menu online and choose what I want before I go there.

I prefer visual food one can point at. Then I want to take the food with me and go to a secret place to eat it.
