We were having a "fun" quiz with a neurotypical person asking the questions. They were really easy questions like how many legs does a spider have? and what do bees make? I obviously knew the answers and the quizzer said "well done" very enthusiastically as if I was a child. I am 33 with average intelligence but because I have a disability people assume I'm stupid. I hate it.

I hate it when people do that to me. It gets my dander up. I'd like to say "Good for you" to an NT and see how they like it. The response I'd get from that person would be pure gold.
