The lady who diagnosed me listed one of my traits as not always dressing appropriately for cold weather. When I got older I started wearing short sleeve shirts even in Winter because when I go out I'm usually inside where the heart is on. I also changed from getting in coats and snapping every snap and zipping every zipper to to just a snap or two unless it's really cold.

People at work are always expressing amazement that I am comfortable going around dressed like I am. I work in an area that gets cold, but I usually move around a lot which warms me up.

I was in a restaurant recently and realized I was more comfortable with a slight chill than I would have been in my jacket. And during this cold spell I have taken to wearing a long sleeve shirt under my short sleeve shirt, with a thick coat over that when I go outside.

I have thin gloves that are actually work gloves, that's all I need to keep my hands warm.

My husband was a variation of that. We put it down to his quarter Scots ancestry - designed to be in cold weather!

He was awfully uncomfortable in the summer, though.

It's rare if I'm ever cold. Even in 'cold' weather, I usually get hot. Then gain, cold weather doesn't exist here.

I think that the time of year to start wearing a jacket is when people start asking me if I'm cold, and the time of year to stop wearing a jacket is when people start asking me if I'm hot.

There have been many years when I've not worn a jacket at all, and some years when I've worn a jacket daily until people would ask me "Aren't you hot in that thing?"

And if there's a warm day during the winter, I'll still wear my jacket, or a cold day during the other seasons, and I'll still not.

When I'm used to wearing something covering my arms(a jacket), I like to continue wearing something that covers my arms, and when I'm used to not having my arms covered, I like to continue to not have my arms covered.

I'm the same way, I'm actually drinking cola with ice cubes in it to cool down because my mom has the heating on high. I wear t-shirts all year 'round aswell.
Summer is incredibly uncomfortable for me, as if the heat alone wasn't terrible enough I absolutely can't stand sweating. Inappropriate clothing habits was also listed by the lady who diagnosed me. (not adapting to the weather was just part of that though)

Not me. Though I prefer cold weather, I am always well-prepared for it, sometimes even over-prepared. In my winter coat, I always carry a beanie, a seirus(?) face mask that covers my mouth, nose and neck, a pair of minimal-insulation leather gloves for driving, a pair of light glove liners and a pair of small but efficient primaloft gloves. When I go our for longer durations, I also have underarmor, sock liners, flannel-lined jeans and some other neat things.

I seem to have a fascination with weather events, I'd like to have a nice view of rainfall outside of a car or tent so I can watch but not feel. Like being in the middle of a storm that can't touch me.

I've always been that way too. I think it's because I have a higher metabolism so my thermostat runs higher.

Metabolism might be a factor for me aswell, I overheat quite easily.

I have this sort of thing where when I move or get excited and it's really cold, I get this really annoying pins-and-needles sensation and my body warms up temporarily meaning I have to take off all my winter wear, then when I get cold again, I have to put it all back on. This gets extremely annoying.

I'm the opposite, I hate even I tiny bit of cold and like being warm, and I hate it when other people say "I feel warm" as a bad thing. I feel a lot more comfortable in environments which are "stuffy".

When I was younger I didn't really feel the cold - but I certainly did feel the heat. Now I'm generically chilly all the time - my feet are always cold, but a lot of the time I don't really feel them anymore. (I know). People at work are wandering around shivering and I'm just fine. I think it's genetic, to tell you the truth. We came from the British Isles only two generations ago.

I rarely get bothered by the cold. I have a very high tolerance for it. My favourite weather is moderately cold.

I have a really high metabolism, though.

My daughter, on the other hand, absolutely cannot tolerate heat as she cannot perspire at all. That was a pain when she was a child, as she'd have to stay indoors while the other kids ran and played. Now she feels cold very easily, so we really have to carefully regulate her environment.

Personally, I'd rather be a bit chilled than too warm. You can always warm up and put more clothes on. There's only so many you can take off to cool down!
