What would your grade me as?

Here's an analysis of :

I'm obsessed with The Kinks and the 60s, and it's very apparent, here at WP. I've even had to ask people to tread lightly.

I live on my own. I've moved out, at the age of 32. I do my own cooking, cleaning and laundry.

I work between two and three hours a week,, as a dustman, cleaning parking lots, and those are two hour shifts.

Tight clothes really bother me, and I prefer unisex looking clothes, anyways.

I was born in Canada, into a strictly Canadian family, but I have the accent, mind and spirit of a Cockney.

I struggled in school, until grade 5. I was below my peers, and than I was suddenly ahead of my peers, in grade 5, at the age of Eleven.

I've graduated from grade 12, on the A-Honour Roll with little help, even though there was help available for me, having gone to college for two years.

Bright conditions and loud voices bother me, to no end.

I do have meltdowns, but they're the emotional ones, instead of the violent ones. I cry...I don't smash things or hit people.

I've reached most of my milestones a little on the late side. I've learned to walk at 15 months, was 90% toilet trained at 3 and a half, with some messy accidents, until four months before my 9th Birthday.

I also wear disposable underpants, due to years of straining in that area, in fear of my parents. From the summer that I was Eight, onwards.

Don't be afraid to be honest.

I am going to say moderate because of your limited work schedule.

It's not this sort of thing that bother's me. It's some snarky comment that an actual WP member gave me in a Google chat room that bothered me, back in the December of 06.

What was the comment?

I thought this had to do with my thread.

You're still upset about that comment from three years ago?

He said, "You're lower functioning than I thought you were."

I would personally think its mild to moderate in my opinion?

Would you personally think the member was hurting your feelings deliberately or do you think it was just an opinion that seemed to be a misunderstanding?

Your posts are generally worth reading, either becuase i get some useful information or i find them entertaining (not in a sarcastic/laugh at you way, more like a newspaper)

Have you ever seen this person in real life that you know of? Otherwise, it's impossible to:
1. Make claims (in their head) about your level of functioning.
2. Disprove those claims by seeing what your actual level of functioning is.
I can't really say anything about the person without having this question answered.

I would think mild if you are able to live on your own. Just curious though-how do you pay your bills? do you receive support of some sort? Please don't take that personally, and if you do not want to answer that is fine. I am just a parent of an AS little boy that is concerned about his future. He is an only child, and my hope is that he will be able to live on his own one day too,
Best of luck to you!

I agree with mild to moderate.
Gosh, I must be moderate to severe.

I say mild because there are people alot worse than I am at pronouncing words and being social. There are people that couldn't even finish school because of their condition. I would say that im blessed.

I pay my bills on my own, over the Internet.
