Hey, guys. :( I just looked on Alex's new website, and when I read his acting resume, I discovered that he has been a guest on three TV shows. I have a question. How do you become a guest on a TV show? Because I want to do it!

I was on channel 7 news once in the bay area, I'd never want to do it again. Seeing myself on T.V was weird. Also making proper eye contact with the camera, I didnt do it well, was just a strange thing.

The good thing about it though is I got to meet the elected mayer of the city at the time. The bad, was the strange phone calls.

Using a script is better then live, at least one knows what to say. I thought about making an aspie radio station online, thats voice and I already got the equipment for it.

I can a major attention whore at times, so I wouldn't mind being on TV if I know I'm about to be so.

What would it be about thought?

Should another topic be started?

Here is the discussion..

If you could get on T.V to make a statement concerning your beliefs, whatever they may be concerning, what would you say?

Different ones for different reasons. For the gma and geraldo, it was to talk about asperger's because i run wrongplanet and that guy who had AS and shot someone used WrongPlanet. For other ones, it was just to talk about aspergers and the site.

Did you ever feel that they wanted to portray Aspies as freaks?

I do not know why they included the label of A.S with what had happened, though I was not really partaking here at the time. Seems as though awareness like with Dr. Phil has got some negative publicity, the label is not the person really, so it makes people diagnosed with it seem criminal or bad perhaps by some.

It is perhaps understood as the label being the sociological archetype, there are stereotypes and stigmas, then the reality of the individual.

“Some might be like this, didn’t that guy who shot someone have A.S, then people might become fearful. Yet I think there is better subjective logics in most then that.

Furthering a truthful awareness of A.S.D's including A.S especially in the social service system might help individuals be less confused and better assisted whom are depressed enough to do such things. Yet criminalism such as this has little to do with the label and more about the subjective reality of the individual instead of the diagnostic groupings.

I have little detail concerning the circumstances of the person who happened to have A.S who commited the crimes.

None of them wanted to but some of them didn't know any better.

I find it interesting how the label has become intertwined with who and what someone is collectively. The I or you becomes the we and the our of the social reality of diagnostic categories.

Much of that can be done in ones own mind, ones own world. There, you are the perfect actor, who makes no errors and everyone loves you.

Actually no, everyone imagines, everyone desires of themselves.

It's essencially universal... There is an internal world of the self then the outer self and percieved by others and how it is persons percieves oneself.

Your statement appears to counterdict the reality of the human mind.. Can you define your state of mind when replying please?

Many persons desire to act, on T.V it is like reality T.V or American Idiol.

For instance I can make classical music up in my mind, go elsehwere in a deeper state of mind and make perfect music, when in reality I have no ability with those instruments.
